Penne with mushrooms and ham
Pasta is always a good solution for dinner. Fast and delicious! Try the penne in a creamy sauce. We promise you will do this dish more than once.
Ingredients
- 125 g short pasta (e.g. penne, bows)
- 150 g mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 5 slices of dried, ripened ham
- 5 pieces of dried tomatoes with pickle
- 125 ml 30% cream
- 3 tablespoons of grated ripened cheese

Preparation
Cook the pasta in salted water according to the instructions on the packaging.
Wash and dry the mushrooms. Heat a frying pan with a tablespoon of olive oil and put the mushrooms cut into thin slices and fry for about 5 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and oregano.
Add thinly chopped garlic and fry for about 2 minutes. Add chopped dried ham and dried tomatoes and fry for about 5 minutes stirring constantly.
Pour the cream and bring to a boil. Boil 2 minutes until the sauce thickens a little, then add a tablespoon of grated cheese and strained pasta. Mix and cook for about 1 minute.
Put into plates and sprinkle with the rest of the cheese.
Pearl barley with Mexican vegetables
Mexican stir-fry stir-fry. Vegetarian dish with pearl barley and vegetables: zucchini, peppers, onions, beans and corn. Let some Mexican breeze on your table.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup pearl barley
- 1 cup broth
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 1/2 onion
- 1 red pepper
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 small zucchini
- spices: 1 teaspoon of cumin, oregano and sweet pepper, 1⁄2 teaspoon of hot pepper and turmeric
- 1 teaspoon tomato paste
- 1/2 can of corn
- 1/2 can of beans
- 50 g of cheese, e.g. mozzarella
- 2 tbsp chives
- optional: fresh coriander, chili pepper
Preparation
Pour the groats into the pot, rinse, pour 1 cup of broth and cook covered for about 25-30 minutes until soft, until the porridge absorbs all the liquid.
Pour olive oil into a large and deep pan. Add diced onion and fry it.
Add diced peppers and zucchini and fry for about 8 minutes while stirring. In the meantime, season the vegetables with salt and pepper. At the end, add finely grated garlic.
Add cooked pearl barley and all spices. Every moment stirring fry for about 3 minutes. Add tomato paste and mix.
Add strained sweetcorn, strained and washed red beans. Mix and heat everything together. Season with salt if necessary.
Mix with chives, sprinkle with cheese, close the lid, set aside from heat and wait about 2 minutes for the cheese to dissolve. Sprinkle with optional coriander and chopped chili.
