The Best Error in the Book Thus Far

December 12, 2007 – 6:20 pm

Readers have been helpful in identifying a few small items that fell through the cracks in our editing and revising. The best one thus far has been that instead of writing lonelygirl15, I wrote lovelygirl15. That’s a bit of a Freudian slip, I guess. Though I may have been thinking of a classic episode of Father Ted.

The nice thing about publishing an ebook is that we can just correct the error, iterate the version number and repost the book. That doesn’t help those people who downloaded it already, of course. However, they get access to all future versions of the book, so they’ll get an error-free version when they ask for it, or when we notify them after a major upgrade. Of course, we’ll probably introduce a few more typos with a major upgrade, but them’s the breaks.
