Company-Wide Pricing
December 12, 2007 – 7:36 amA couple of people have asked us about ‘company-wide pricing’ or a ’site license’ for the ebook. In essence, they want to buy a bunch of copies for their colleagues. That’s kind of them, because of course they could just buy one ebook and copy it a bunch of times.
We did a little research, and decided that US $250 was a fair amount. If you pay that (there’s a link on our Buy page), you get the right to distribute as many copies as you want within your organization. Obviously this is for your bigger companies. Frankly, we don’t really mind if a small business owner buys an ebook and then makes a couple of copies for his staff. Besides, how are we going to stop him?
A couple of people have also asked about affiliate pricing. That’s on our list to figure out over the next few days.
